intent of this page is not to
encourage a change in beliefs.
Instead, this page is about
gaining a better understanding
of others and how they see the
world. When we accomplish
this, we reduce misunderstanding,
distrust, and a false understanding
of the objects of the denomination
We must remember that most people
are good people trying to do good
for themselves, family, and friends.
As an example Islam appears to be
based upon Jewish-Chrisitan-Gnostic
principles found in some Dead Sea
Scrolls. From this self-education by
Mohamed, not an intellect, but a
sincere man trying to do his best in
understanding these writings.
Add to this meditation and praying
for understanding and guidance,
the roots for Islam began.
Some may feel uncomfortable
reading Holy books of other
faiths. Do not feel this way, you
will not be converted and second
you will understand Christianity
and your interpretation of your
faith with greater depth. But, do
not feel obligated to do so. A
recommendation is to read works
from Tenzin Gyatso, His Holiness
the 14th Dalai Lama.
This man deserves everyone's
greatest respect and should be
revered by everyone of all
faiths. His teachings are good
for all of us and if you cannot
be a Tabitian Buddhist, commit
to your faith with all of your
heart and allow him (The Dalai
Lama), to help you to step
deeper into your faith with his
exercises. He will not try to convert
you to Buddhism, but you will
become a better Christian.
