Islam recently has come under strong
controversy since 9-11 2001. Many
Christians feel that Islam is a gnostic
form of Judaism/Christianity. Gnostic
means knowledge. It is believed
outside of Islam than Mohammad
started his journey when he found
some dead sea scrolls. This put into
place his visions and mystica
l experiences which are the basis to a
large degree with Islam.

Islam is still considered a newer religion
and possibly some of the coarseness
that is sometimes experienced is
because tradition has yet smoothed
some of the sharp corners. It is
several of these sharp corners which has
created the terrorist elements in Islam.
There is no central authority and sects
behave similarly in a greater degree as
Southern Baptists which are also
independent.

These elements that are violent are
more so with other Islams then with the
outside world. It is their belief that they
have some authority over the rest of
Islam. It is these factions that are
considered dangerous and literally hold the
rest of Islam hostage, for if the peaceful
Islamic people pull away from any reference
to these factions, they come under attack,
many times with physical assault.

It brings the question: If these factions are
out to mandate their terms to the world,
why not are they er brokers which span
international boarders? These would be the
quiet puppet masters that pull the strings of
world leaders. It would seem this would be
where their interests should lie, not with those
forced to follow as does the hand with the
brain.

The Islamic in the United States are having
trouble assimilating into the general population.
First of all is the fact of 9-11. But also, it is,
too often, that there is an aloofness which is
also found with the Orthodox Catholics. But in
addition, it is the belief that even the peaceful
Islams are spreading an alienation within their
teachings of their children. It is believed that
there is a lack of national patriotism being instilled
into the younger generation.

These beliefs along with the actions of the violen
elements which is making it difficult to trust those
of the Islamic faith, even if they are born and raised
in America. Previous immigrants put forth the
strongest effort of trying to become American and
usually by the first or second born generation in
America, the ties are strong to this country.

Islam is a strongly moral faith and strongly
encourages the faithful to follow Mohammad's
footsteps as does Christianity encourages the
following of Jesus.

It may not seem fair for those new to this country
to be the ones offering a hand of friendship, but
with past events it is at least understandable.

Our American Flag Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Psalm 33:12
